YourPlace browser - Installation Instructions
Thank you for installing the YourPlace browser. On completion of the installation you will be able to order YourPlace data through the National Economics' website and receive the data online.
The version supplied to you requires Access 2000 or above to run successfully.
Please follow the instructions below to ensure successful installation of the YourPlace browser.
STEP 1
When users are ready to install the YourPlace browser please contact support on (03) 9488 8444 for assistance and the required security key code.
STEP 2
After the browser is installed, users should open the program by choosing Start - Programs - YourPlace - Database.
STEP 3
A security screen will appear which requires the input of two code numbers, the identifier code and security key code 1. The indentifier code is the number provided with the CD. The security key code 1 will be provided by support staff when you ring at time of installation.
STEP 4
After the codes have been successfully entered a splash screen will appear. Users may select a region which will then appear as the default region throughout the program. Both the buttons on the splash page and the main menu bar may be used to navigate throughout the program.
The sample on the YourPlace browser contains data for Woollahra, NSW only.
STEP 5
Users wishing to purchase the complete Australia wide YourPlace data or data for a particular region need to navigate to the National Economics website by choosing National Economics - National Economics Website from the YourPlace browser main menu. Users may then purchase data by selecting the YourPlace menu from the menu bar on the website.
STEP 6
The selected data will be emailed to the user and can then be imported into the program by selected National Economics - New Data Series - Import New Data. An account with National Economics will be opened and an invoice for the selected data will be sent to you by National Economics for payment within 30 days.
